Kerry Gordon is the Founder and President of KG Sports Med LLC, leveraging over two decades of experience in elite athletic care. Formerly, she served as the Vice President of Health and Safety for the XFL, where she orchestrated comprehensive health and safety strategies while spearheading the Health and Performance Departments across the league's teams.
Gordon's illustrious career includes 15 seasons as a trusted consultant in the NFL for renowned teams such as the Philadelphia Eagles, Kansas City Chiefs, and Los Angeles Rams. Additionally, she spent two seasons in the NBA with the Los Angeles Clippers and dedicated 11 years to Cirque du Soleil, where she led the Performance Medicine Department, ensuring the well-being and rehabilitation of performers.
Her journey commenced in 2000 as a Seasonal Intern Athletic Trainer with the Los Angeles Xtreme, marking the inception of her dedication to athletic excellence. Throughout her trajectory, Gordon has held pivotal roles at esteemed institutions including Southern Polytechnic State University and the University of South Carolina.
Gordon's credentials speak volumes—she is a NATA licensed athletic trainer, NSCA certified strength and conditioning specialist, and NCTMB licensed massage therapist. Her expertise extends beyond the field, as she has graced numerous platforms as a guest lecturer and keynote speaker at esteemed universities and international conferences.
A graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and the University of South Carolina, Gordon's academic prowess complements her practical acumen, making her a beacon of excellence in sports medicine and athletic care.
Sean Hayes
Director of Player Performance
Sean Hayes is a distinguished NSCA certified strength and conditioning coach and the Founder of 8th Street Performance. Currently serving as the Director of Player Performance for the United Football League, Hayes brings over a decade of expertise in elite athlete performance training and development.
Hayes garnered significant recognition during his tenure as the Director of Strength and Conditioning for WWE, where he revolutionized training protocols for WWE & NXT athletes. Overseeing a diverse roster of more than 140 athletes across the U.S. and U.K., Hayes implemented the organization's first comprehensive training program, elevating performance standards to new heights.
Prior to his pivotal role with WWE, Hayes made a substantial impact with the Houston Texans, contributing to the team's success in winning the AFC South in 2015. His experience spans prestigious institutions such as Penn State University, where he worked with the football team and women’s lacrosse program, and Jacksonville University’s football team.
A Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Certified Physical Preparation Specialist (CPPS), Hayes earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Harvard University. During his time at Harvard, Hayes excelled as an All-Ivy League linebacker for the Harvard Crimson, showcasing his dedication to both academic excellence and athletic achievement. Hayes continues to be a driving force in the field of sports performance, combining his passion for fitness with his commitment to optimizing athlete potential.
Kirsten Gregurich
Director of Sports Nutrition
Kirsten Gregurich, is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Founder of KG Nutrition, LLC. Kirsten's career highlights include serving as the Team Dietitian for the Indianapolis Colts, where she orchestrated year-round nutrition planning and collaborated closely with the NFL team's performance and foodservice operations. She also played a crucial role as the Assistant Director of Nutrition for the University of Texas Football Performance team, managing player nutrition and integrating advanced performance nutrition software
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Ball State University and a Master of Science with a Dietetic Internship from Illinois State University, achieving RD certification in July 2019.
Damond Blueitt
Regenerative Specialist, Sports Medicine Physician
Damond Blueitt, MD, is a sports medicine physician specializing in non-operative orthopedics, complex sport concussion management, and regenerative medicine. Dr. Blueitt serves patients in Fort Worth and Keller, Texas, at Texas Orthopaedic Associates.
Dr. Blueitt received a bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, where he played wide receiver for the Mustangs. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas.
Following graduation, he completed his residency at Southwest Georgia Family Medicine Residency at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, where he was named resident of the year and co-chief resident. Dr. Blueitt went on to complete a sports medicine fellowship at Steadman-Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas in Greenville, South Carolina.
In addition to seeing patients at Texas Orthopaedic Associates, Dr. Blueitt is the medical director for the United Football League, a team physician for FC Dallas and several local high schools. He is also the medical director for the Texas Health Sports Medicine Concussion Program and is on the Concussion Oversight Team of numerous North Texas high schools.
Dr. Blueitt is very active and believes in an active lifestyle. He enjoys the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Corey Yeager
Director of Mental Health
Dr. Corey Yeager, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a doctoral background, specializing in serving the African American community. With degrees in Psychology, Psychotherapy, and Family Social Science from Metropolitan State University, Argosy University, and the University of Minnesota respectively, his research focuses on understanding and improving African American relationships. Dr. Yeager integrates family systems theory into his practice and advises organizations on leveraging systemic approaches for personal and professional growth.
Formerly, Dr. Yeager worked as the Team Psychotherapist for the Detroit Pistons, where he merged his passions for athletics and therapy. In this role, he supported players, coaching staff, and leadership by promoting role clarity and fostering cohesive, relational dynamics within the organization. Beyond sports, he leads discussions on race and racism nationwide, facilitating transformative dialogues in organizational settings such as The Oprah Winfrey Network, The Smithsonian Institute, and The Gersh Agency through the Engage Speakers Bureau. Dr. Yeager resides in Minneapolis with his wife Carrie and their four sons.
